Dodge vs. GMC vs. Nissan at Spring Creek

Dodge, GMC, and Nissan compete on this small hill climb (100% grade) at Spring Creek Off Road. very muddy and slick; who will make it up? Dodge and GMC are on Nitto Terra Grapplers. Nissan is running Michelin LTX A/T2.
Video Rating: 3 / 5

@HRRgaming watch it again genius. the Dodge avoided the rut also.
LOL notice how the Dodge and the GMC stay in the rut all the way up and the Nissan completely avoids the rut. Hhmmmm. isn’t that weird?
The GMC go off roading with stock tires… WTF!?
Nissan FTW
@vwbusssesareforever no the nissan has more weight on the rear tires
@Spywell it’s still directly related to horsepower
Guys there is no “HP War”, Specifically it would be more accurate calling it a “Towing” or “Capabilities” war. The point is, SAE J2807′s towing standards are going into effect in a year and the towing numbers are dropping sharply for any truck below 400hp. To keep their towing numbers all the manufacturers are upping their engine power to keep them in the 10k range so they don’t suffer a massive drop in popularity as the “truck that couldn’t tow as much as the others”.
@dodgeperformance1 hey dumbass, I OWN THE RED NISSAN. the diffs were OPEN during the filming of this video. it is NOT LIFTED, and it’s on Michelin LTX tires which are HIGHWAY TIRES. i obviously know more about this vehicle than you, considering I OWN IT, but i’m sure you’re going to call me a liar…
@nicklanphier1 ok tough guy seems like the people you race are old guys that drop trucks to the ground and put loud exhausts and drive slow cuz they afraid of scraping the floor and ou think they wanna race cuz their exhaust flares up and you just floor it thinkin they goin too thats what i think you do so back up i raced a 04 wrx sti and that thing was stupid fast no fuckin shit it has what is it called umm a fuckin turbo and awd for accel numb nuts think about it bitch i owned one
@alexrex20 really open diffs dont look like it only one time did the tires spin at the top of the hill and sure stock susp sure and highway tires you must be lookin at the gmc and dont get me wrong i know what an open diff is so dont talk shit. were you the one in it or workin on it? just look at it no open diffs
come on GM what r u doing?
@alexrex20 wow kid, you sure keep your google handy for all those specs dontcha, think you know it all lmao.
@nicklanphier1 are you retarded? learn how to fucking read. it was someone else talking about how their trucks beats cars. dumbass redneck.
@alexrex20 ur the 1 talkin about how ur truck beats ppl in a race…i ighly doubt that. who cares about pulling a trailer or payload? im in a fuckin car. i could give 2 shits about that
@nicklanphier1 wow, your Subaru beats trucks… just not off road, or pulling a trailer, or in payload capacity…
@dodgeperformance1 my subaru rapes trucks constantly….
@alexrex20 2009 technically, doesn’t make any difference though lol
And I tend to leave the Titan outta the argument lol, more so a sporty smaller truck IMO. I do like it though
And out of those two? Neither in my slightly un-humble opinion
Mopar or no car!
That GMC had nice slick offroad tires… -_-
@shpuker The Silverado/Sierra didn’t get the 400hp 6.2 option until 2010, surely spurred on by being last in the hp race (second to last if you include Nissan
). I’m not getting defensive. I’m not even a fan of the Tundra or Titan. I just felt compelled to clarify my posts which were obviously misinterpreted by a certain few (not referring to you).
May the best truck win! And for the record, my next truck is either a 6.2 Sierra non-Denali or 6.2 4dr Raptor.
@alexrex20 Well, the second gen dodges had been around for 8 years, so at the seventh year of the third gen they decided they’d release a new one? One they’d been designing since they released the third gens? I dunno makes sense to me.
And the Silverado was still in its 1st gen (10 year run) and was in need of a refresh…
I’m not saying it didn’t edge them into releasing a new truck, I’m just saying they aren’t currently losing the so called “hp war.” No need to be defensive over nothing…
@Usuckysuckyfidoller Yep, now i’m sure 100% that you’re retarded. The Ram SRT10 hasn’t been in production since 2006. The 6.2 Silverado/Sierra/Denali/Escalade has 403hp and 417lb-ft. The 390hp 6.2 only came in the ’08-09 Hummer H2.
@shpuker and why did they release a new model? hmmm, maybe it’s because the new Tundra was stealing their customers, so the American Big Three needed new generation trucks to remain competitive… no, that has nothing to do with it.
@Usuckysuckyfidoller i didn’t imply that the Tundra is currently the most powerful 1/2ton truck. you just incorrectly inferred that. you ARE retarded, aren’t you?
@alexrex20 well yea….you tryed to say that the tundra was the only 1/2 ton truck with a 380+hp engine when in reality its lowest hp in the 1/2 ton class when compaired to gm/ford and dodge with the optional engines…the tundra may have been the first to offer it but now there passed up
chevy didnt want to put them all to shame
